Water Is A Human Right.
We cannot live without water, so why does it have a price tag? Is bottled water safe? Why don't many people have access to clean water?

Water = Everything

Water is one of the most used resources in the world, and it is used for more than just drinking. Especially nowadays facing COVID-19 outbreaks clean water is needed more than ever for proper handwashing and overall hygiene.

Is bottled water safe?

The short answer is ... no! It isn't normally safe to drink, nor is it safe for the environment. Such as bottles of water labeled pure water, because it is filled with plastic particles, chlorine, and more. (yum, right?) All of these things are supposedly under the allowable amount for human consumption, but that doesn't mean it's ok to drink anything like that. I would recommend to look at more than just the price of that jug/bottle of water and look at the source of where the water came from. For example, natural spring water is a great choice, even better when you see the locations. Also, I ask if you can use a reusable water bottle whenever you can! Small changes like that will leave a great effect on the world!

Why doesn't everybody have access to water?

Well, many people don't have access because of multiple reasons. One of those reasons is the government from the lack of organizational structures and facilities they provide for their country. The governments need to do more in providing access to water for communities farther than just the main city. Even then, after the government figures itself out, another problem comes. From a person's ethnicity, economics, gender, or they just cannot afford the high costs. They still won't have access to clean water.

Luckily organizations Water Aid are trying to provide water and other resources to these communities! You can support them too click here to take action!

Is Clean Water Free?

Well, in the US legally yes, but in reality no. Water is free, but the water isn't always guaranteed to be clean. Also, where have you seen a water fountain in a public place that anyone at any time can access? I can't think of any place like that. Sure the public library has a water fountain, but the library isn't always open. Especially during this time in quarantine from the COVID-19 outbreaks, the public libraries are closed. Maybe a park somewhere in the US has one, even then parks are currently closed.

So I ask where is this so-called "Free Clean Water"?
